Waist reached! + color change (PICS)

This first picture is taken in the beginning of January, my hair has been ombre for ages and I've been avoiding dyeing. It looks very frizzy and dry for some reason (maybe cause it IS frizzy..?! :D )

So.. I got tired of it, and finally forced myself to dye it. I think it turned out quite ok. It's not exactly the same tone as my roots, but I don't mind, the ombre effects is gone! :D It also seems I've reached waist, today I measured 29,5inches as in February it was 28... Funny, cause it still doesn't really FEEL that long. (because of layers and tapering..?) But I'm happy to reach my mini-milestone, it has taken forever to get here. Here's the evidence:

Thank you all for your nice comments..! :) I wish my hair was that straight and silky all the time, but it's not :p when I oil my hair and wash it, there's just curls and frizz! In that picture I hadn't washed it for two days.

Hi Rosetta! Sorry it took a while from me to answer, but I colored my hair with Swartzkopf Poly color, 15 medium blonde. The colour looks lighter in pictures than it is in natural light, though.

Congratulations on the length! That gives me a bit of inspiration because I am currently just a few inches away from reaching waist as well. I grew my hair out after dyeing and definitely had the ombre thing going on (lighter on bottom), but several people actually complimented it and said they liked how it looked. 3+ years after quitting dyeing I still have a bit of the ombre left, but very subtle. Whatever changes you made in hair care between the first and second picture look like they made some difference!

Thanks for the reply! Interestingly enough, I used that same product & shade a few months ago, to try to cover light orange from bleaching henna; but it didn't do much for me. Whereas your result is amazing :)
(Well, maybe trying to cover henna orange is a mission impossible...)
