Ok, so I have been REALLY good for a long time, I don't color my hair, hardly ever use a blow dryer and I threw away my curling iron. My hair is in good shape.
But lately I am obsessed with the way hot rolled hair looks!
The curls are so gorgeous..and my bun waves aren't doin it for me.
If I use heat protectant products and ceramic rollers, will I still ruin my hair if I hot roll it occasionally, like a few times a week(3 or 4)? And what are some other things(if any) that you can do to protect your hair when using heat?
I'm bored of my stick straight hair!! :(

Have you tried the caruso steam rollers? You get the same look as hot rollers, and no damage.

Here is a link for them on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Caruso-C97953-SalonPro-Molecular-Hairsetter/dp/B0002JKPB8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334294898&sr=8-1

Definitely the Caruso hot rollers - they are so easy to use and they use steam heat so they aren't damaging to your hair. My hair is very straight and pretty fine and has a hart time holding on to a curl, and it keeps the curls for me. You should definitely look into it. (like everyone else on here said) and Ultrabella seems to be the Caruso hot roller queen, so you should definitely check out the thread posted by Julliams - I read the whole thing before I bought my set. There are good tips on there, too. :)

I agree with the Caruso rollers.

I own a set of standard ceramic flocked rollers and I love them though. I always use a heat protectant and do lots of deep conditioning treatments :)
