I have platinum blonde hair and I'd like to dye it brown (my natural colour) for a few months. My question is, will I easily be able to go back to blonde? Ie, is it possible to go from brown back to blonde in a single session, or would that require multiple salon visits? And will all this dying ruin my hair? (not that it's in the greatest shape at the moment, but it's fairly decent)

Thanks for any advice!

I was going to suggest one of those styling mousses with some color in them but they only last until the next wash.

I'm a blond that dyed her hair brown in the past and I had to grow it out even though I used temporary dye but my hair is naturally very porous so the dye really got in there. Right now I prefer hair health over fun colors but there's nothing wrong with dying if that's what makes you happy. I know you can protect your hair against dye damage with coconut oil so that might be something you'd want to look into before dying and possibly bleaching it back to normal.

And obviously we want pics of your new color if you decide to go for it!
