I colored my hair!!

I got my hair done at a salon I usually go to. I like it. It smells weird. And almost a little to dark. I'm tempted to oil the ends because they feel really odd, but my mom would probably flip out. I'l save that for a couple days down the road. Lol.

thanks guys ^__^ my hair before was a little to Red, and I had over an inch of dark roots. So I decided to color it for prom.

Thanks!! That's what I hoping to do! Dye as close as I can back to my natural color. But IMO, still a little to dark.

^ Well, it will lighten up a tad, or it should. Most of the time when one goes darker, it's super-dark at first, then after a few washings or COs, settles into a mellow color.

I find the color very nice and rich (I may be biased, I love dark hair as a dark haired person myself) but my opinion is that you don't look like 16 anymore. Also, I don't find it natural. I haven't looked into your profile (yet) to find out your natural color but I think that dark brown would suit you better (maybe it's my monitor, I'm on a crappy laptop but to me this is almost black). Something is "off", hard to define. No offense meant.
