My 2Year Hairversary

It's been two years for me here at LHC! I want to start by saying thank you to everyone for being so kind, informative and helpful with not only hair queries but other more personal things too. This is a lovely forum. Now on to the pictures!

I started with a layered A-line bob back in April 2010.

And here I am today in April 2012, painfully slowly working my way towards APL.

I have learned a lot from my 2years here and I'm still learning! I'm about to embark on a CO routine and show off my curls so expect many more posts from me and lots of questions which I have no doubt you will all be just as helpful and kind as you have been these past 2years :)

You've made great progress, your hair has grown a lot! I'm also growing out an a-line bob and the layers drive me crazy, to the point that I usually give into frustration and chop. I'm just wondering, have you trimmed along the way? Or did you just let it grow?

I had the same exact cut in 2009. I really did like the cut but I never upkeep short cuts so I grew it out. Nice growth!! :)

Thank you everyone! I've been reluctant to call it APL but if you think I've reached it I can celebrate a mini victory :)

BrightEyes, I had a massive layered chop in April 2011 due to box dye damage, so there has been quite a few trims and growing out very short layers. I imagine i'd be a bit closer to my goal without the chop I did but I was very pleased to be rid of the damage and start a dye free lifestyle :)
