After not touching or trimming my hair in about 6 months, I just went through and cut out nearly ALL the bleach damage from years ago. I just felt through my hair for the areas that basically felt like sandpaper and trimmed it all out. It's difficult to tell how it looks right now, but it's probably all funny and different lengths. But it already feels so much softer..

Glad I got up the courage to do a major trim!:joy:

Good for you! It can be a bit of a shock when you get rid of all the damage and feel how great the new ends are and I'm sure it looks great :)

Yay!!

I cut off all of my heat damage at once and my hair felt so much nicer. I haven't needed a trim since, and that was over a year ago :D.
Hopefully, yours doesn't need one another soon either.

Thanks everyone! I only wish I'd done this sooner! Could have saved myself months of bad hair days with my little fried bits flying all over the place.

Congratulations! Getting rid of damaged hair can make a HUGE difference - I remember this myself from last summer, when I got rid of the last or the dye damage. :)

I don't have the courage to do this :/ although it would be a smart thing to do because I have bleached my hair last summer :/..
