My 5 year anniversary update with pics

Hi everyone! Well this month marks 5 years I decided to take better care of my hair and grow it out long. When I joined here in April 2007, my hair was approximately hip length and was permed and layered like there was no tomorrow. I hated the layers, and even more so hated the health of my ends. They were frizzed and fried from the perm and there was no undoing that! I chopped it off to a neckline bob in august of 2008. I was desperate to get rid of the perm and the layers and emotionally that was the only option.

I was happier with the health after the cut, but of course set out on a mission to grow it back out! Well here i am now and I couldnt be happier. I have a blunt hemline with no layers. My only complaint is the BSL bangs that I am currently growing out. Other than that I am very happy and cant wait to grow even longer. I am a few inches from classic right now, and also you cant see them in the pic but I have alot of sparklies! I look forward to a head full of silver one day. That is the one thing I decided when I joined here. I wasnt gonna color my hair because I saw so much beautiful uncolored hair here!

Also my length goals have changed since joining. When I first joined I was thinking classic, but now I am just gonna keep growing it as long as it stays healthy and happy.

I look forward to another 5 years with everyone!

Wow ! Did you get from a neckline bob to this in less that 5 years? That is amazing progress ! Congratulations! I have always had an issue with my ends, they get so thin regardless of what I do... I am past BSL now and I am wondering if I should try to get past waist and then cut off all the "unhealthy" parts or if I should do it right now. My problem is that it feels to me that all the cutting I have done the last 2 years hasn't helped a lot... I want so much to have a blunt hemline! I do not know what to do... Any tips are welcomed!
