This is probably the most common question on a hair board!

If you have significantly increased your growth rate, can you please share what exactly you did to achieve this?

TIA! :)

Here are some threads with information on how to grow hair faster:
- Castor oil for hair growth? (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=18265) (people usually mix it 50% castor oil, 50% a lighter oil, like extra virgin olive oil),
- Iodine for hair growth (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=57627), Monistat... dare we start this again (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=156)
- anybody want to join me in a rooibo experiment? (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=71576&highlight=rooibo)
- Coconut Milk: Organic Stimulator for Hair Growth (http://www.dailyglow.com/coconut-milk-organic-stimulator-for-hair-growth.html)
- Biotin (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=47879&highlight=biotin)
- MSM (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=45973)

For me personally Neelibhringadi Ayurvedic Hair Oil (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=34344) and Rooibos tea worked. I got about 1 inch of growth a month with either one. Castor oil also worked (1 inch) but only for one month.

Hope that helps! :)

Drinking a full glass of 2% milk before bed and juicing my own fresh fruits and veggies. My fav juice to make for my hair and skin is 1 sweet apple + 1 orange + 3 unpeeled carrots. Keep in mind though that with fast hair growth it is body wide so be ready to shave your legs often lol

Juicing lots of vegetables and fruits, daily. Salads and good protein, like salmon almost everynight. Increase excercise and I take hair, skin and nail vitamins. My hair grew like crazy, and I even have new fuzzie hair coming in on top, well everywhere, just more noticeable on top. It is really getting thick.

I get 1" amonth with monistat. :) I also like juicing my own fruits, but I don't know if it helped my hair growth.

Scalp massage with any kind of topical works for me, among other things (diet, exercise, vitamins, etc.).

I starting taking vitamins again. I've learned to do scalp massage, got rid of my brushes, hair appliances & started CWC, CO on the weekends and oiling at least every other night. After a few weeks my hair has started growing again!! :cheese:

I've been getting an inch a month, and I read something recently that said eating garlic... haha it sounds silly but I do eat A LOT of garlic! Also prenatal vitamins as supposed to help hair grow faster.

Monistat, hair skin and nail vitamins, and multi vitamin, oils, and using a wide tooth comb only. I don't know what one really works and I forgot one mane n tail shampoo and conditioner.
