Bangs or no bangs? (pics)

I've had bangs since I was a kid, and recently I've been wondering if I should change it up.

I feel like they give my hair more style when I wear it back---I've included two pics with the hair back here, as well as down. (The no bangs pic is more of an outfit picture, but it's the best I have:-))

But I'm also curious about the no bangs world...a very classic look IMO.

I think no bangs, it looks very interesting and sort of mysterious :) Bangs are cute too, but you can always cut them...
I've decided to grow mine out too a year ago or so, so far no regrets, they turned into wonderful face framing layers :)

You look nice both ways, but if you are bored, why not grow them out for now, and then re-cut if you get bored again later to mix things up?

I really like the bangs! If you are just bored with them try wearing them differently, like swept to the side. You can always pretend you don't have bangs by pinning them back if you occasionally want an updo with no bangs.

I like the bangs on you. You keep them rather long, so you can still braid them in or pin them back.

I think your bangs are very cute, but I think you look more classy and sophisticated without them. You have a beautiful face and I think you look best without the bangs. However I think you look good either way and it have to be your decisions as what others do or do not think look best on you really do not matte compared to what you yourself like best ad feel the most comfortable with.

i really like you with a fringe (or bangs as seems to be the common terminology here), as others have said, you can always sweep them away for a different style. I keep my fringe because i think i look awful without it - you on the otherhand could get away with either as you are so pretty :)

I'm bangs biased, but that's my vote. Especially with them longer and tapering at the ends - you totally pull off the Zooey Deschanel! (my ultimate girl-crush)

With your face shape (and hair line) both no bangs/bangs look good on you. I think with bangs the look is more young and fun, without bangs more sophisticated. You have pretty eyebrows that get lost behind the bangs though..I've also had bangs for the most of my life, but I grew them out once just to see that I don't look good without bangs. So why not, grow them out to see if you like it, you can always cut them back in.

I really like your bangs but you look good with your hair pulled back without them too. You could grow them out for a while and see what you think.

Thanks for all the feedback, guys! I might grow them out and see if I can make it past my nose, as this seems to be my trigger spot for "I just want them out of the way!"

I like the suggestion to play with pinning them back...I a able to disguise them with a thin black headband. Maybe I'll do that, and get my mermaid hair fantasy out of the way for a few weeks:-)

I envy those who can wear bangs and you can definitely rock them! Both look very nice, but I think the bangs suit your face better personally.

I can't see the second two pictures, but of the first two, I prefer the no/less bangs.
If you're not sure, you could always try long side bangs instead - it's kind of a transition from bangs to no bangs, but can still soften updos. Then decide where to go from there.
But as I said, I think you have a lovely face/face shape, so you pull off the no bang look very well.

I love you with no bangs! You look mysterious and gorgeous. Bangs makes you looks more pretty and girly.

I can only see the first two pictures. You look good in both but I definately prefer NO bangs! :)

I really strongly dislike bangs on most women, and your first picture shows why. To me, it looks like there's this solid brick of hair around your face. Very harsh and unflattering. Even something as light as Torrin Paige's bangs to me looks terribly harsh.

A sideswept bang is (very marginally) better, but still pretty harsh.

Your second "no bang" look is much softer, and it's easy to see how pretty you are. No strong lines to highlight the unevenness in your facial features. Very few of us have perfect features :) and the harsh lines of bangs or fringe really highlight imperfections. If you let your face just be a face tho, most people will notice the total effect, and an asymmetrical feature would have to be hugely obvious for them to see. (I spent most of my life with a beauty mark the size of a pencil eraser by my nose, and almost no one noticed THAT, or when I had it removed after a cancer scare... so believe me, it has to be BIG. At first it was crushing when I realized no one noticed I had it removed, but gradually I got used to the idea that no one else looks at my face as closely as I do.)

The other factor is most of us have "baby hairs" or "wispies" that grow in and naturally suit how our hair type is. If your hair is curly, they'll curl. If it's straight, you end up with a floating halo or the wispiest possible bangs. It tends to be very cute, and very subtle.

Although no bangs may appear more classy, the bangs look lovely, and bring attention to you lovely eyes. As well the picture with no bangs looks less youthful/playful.

However, as everyone says your face is lovely and would still look very pretty without bangs and you can always cut them again later.

If I had to choose,I would vote ....for bangs
