How Long Can I Leave Henna Before I Use It?

I've mixed up a batch of henna, and (silly me) realized I might not be able to henna right away. How long can henna sit after dye release? I was considering leaving it until tomorrow afternoon.

I did that once. It seemed fine. Left over henna which was frozen and then thawed again seemed to work ok too. I'm not much of an expert though.

This happened to me too. I defrosted my henna and something came up so I left it on the counter until the next day. It worked just fine!

Do you think I should refrigerate it?

I don't have a freezer, but was able to save my leftovers for about twenty-four hours in the fridge. The dye release was still there, from my palm test, but I was just doing a gloss.

You should put it either in the fridge or freezer, just to be safe.
