So I finally got up the courage to use the rajasthani henna from Henna Sooq (http://www.hennasooq.com) that's been in my freezer for a few weeks waiting for my bangs to grow out. I was a little worried at first after rinsing because of the traffic-cone orange hairline, but that faded pretty quickly and now I LOVE Love love love love it!!

Before hair.

The henna! I added a little paprika and ginger, but I doubt it was enough to make a different with color or aroma.

After dye release. I pre-heated the oven to 170, turned it off when I put in the henna, and left it for about two hours.

The after! I left it in for about two and a half hours.

Strange face in this one, but the hubs took it and it's the best image in natural light.

Originally I was thinking I wanted to go for henna saturation and deep burgundy, but I really really like this! We'll just have to see how my henna maintenance plan works itself out :)

Thanks, guys!! I'm glad it looks natural, the one thing I was most worried about was the color just totally not working my my skin. AND added bonus that I didn't plan - it does make my green/brown hazel eyes look crazy green! I love it!
