1 year Hairiversary! Pics!

The big chop was on 3-18-2011, so I'm a couple of days late, but that's really not going to make too much of a difference :o. Here's front and sides of my original cut (pics taken a couple days after):

Were it not for a trim in November to get rid of mulletage, it would be about 2 inches longer than that. I really can't believe the difference!

I have taken particular interest in your growth, oktobergoud, over the months as we appear to have cut at almost the same time; by the look of your progress I think you'd be at the same length, if not longer, as me were it not for the extra trims you've had.

See, it's interesting that we seem to have taken the two different paths you can really take when growing out from a pixie; I took the "let it look very odd for a long time but just leave it alone" method and you took the "keep trimming to even it up even if that means slightly less growth" method. I think both our hair has turned out marvelously!

Whenever I'd see you in Super Shorties I'd always be envious of how good you made your hair look at each stage, while mine managed to look very awkward for quite a while! :p

I honestly don't know what I did to make it grow so quickly! I've always considered myself to have a fairly rapid growth rate, though. Other than biotin and a month or two of Monistat in the early stages (I haven't touched either in at least 8 months), I haven't really done anything special. I don't have a particularly good diet, I heatstyle... :p The only thing I can think of is that I've been stretching washes for one extra day (I leave a two-day gap between washes) since December 2010, so maybe the less washing/drying has helped a little.
