Hello all!
I henna'd my hair last month. It came out way darker than I wanted it to. I used Body Art Quality (I bought light yemen).
To get it the color I want, Im going to Bleach (yes I know its bad for my hair, but I really do look bad) then re-henna. What I want to know is what should I do to limit the damage. I know when bleaching your hair, damage is inevitable I just want to limit it. Also what will henna look like on bleached hair? PLEASE help!

Before you bleach, I'd recommend you try a treatment like Color Oops, in the method outlined in this thread. (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=85463) Less risk of damage than bleaching, by far.

Hi. Please do not be so hasty to try bleach. We have a member who has reported success with henna removal in a series of treatments with far less potential for damage.

Please give me a few minutes to find her thread for you.

You could google hennaforhair. There is a color chart that tells what henna and other things you add to the henna to change the color.
My white hairs( only have a few, thankfully) come out a natural looking medium red.

Please don't bleach your hair. It will ruin it and I speak from experience, I'm going to be growing it out for years.
