Can anyone throw any light on how to wear side combs in long hair? I've always wanted to try them but am not sure how to make them stay firmly in place and keep my side-hair out of my face.

Side combs may not even suit my facial features, but it's something I'd like to try - maybe they might work for when i wear my hair up in a bun?

Great tutorial here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gpq66w_Yl1w

And it looks very LHC friendly for the product too, with no sharp edges or seems to snag hair.

ETA: The combs are not cheap, http://www.stone-bridge.co.uk/combs--sticks-8-c.asp but the choices and colours are beautiful in my opinion, and if they last it would be an investment, without your having to sand down edges or get ripped hair. And they are UK based, with free shipping over a certain amount purchased.

And you can contact them before buying, http://www.stone-bridge.co.uk/contact-us-2-w.asp to discuss your hair.

ETA:2 I like this part http://www.stone-bridge.co.uk/our-hair-accessories-3-w.asp, if you do not like your purchase, you get to send it back,
"No questions asked."

ETA:3 These are much less expensive and handmade too, http://www.franceluxe.com/pc/9960/CombsSticks/index.html

All combs and sticks - http://www.franceluxe.com/c/CombsSticks/CombsSticks.html - a wide price range.

Good luck!
