When I got near the bottom of the braid I dropped one of the strands and didn't even notice. LOL, That's why I'm only showing the top half.

Yep. I could do a 7 or 8 strand the same way but 1/4 of the down the braid I get lost. LOL

My hair is a bit like horse hair. Also I don't shampoo so it doesn't really frizz anymore.

Nope. I don't oil my hair. I don't need to because I wash my hair with just water and my natural oils are all over my hair. Extra oil would just be extra oil lol.

During the winter I had to use conditioner to moisturize but now with this warm/hot weather all I gotta do is hop in a cool shower and rinse till I get cold and step out into the hot air. I only have AC in my bedroom, everywhere else I just have fans.
