I've been looking for some of those really small hair elastics, I don't really care if they're those clear ones or not. I can't seem to find any info about what they're made of. I have a latex sensitivity and apparently there's no rule about telling people what your products are made from or what they contain. (Also why I can't find any latex-free rainboots, but that's another matter.)
