The article claims that no one wears their hair that long anymore. Admittedly, in the US, at least, it is definitely rare. But I know loads of people with far longer length than around classic. Watching her dance, you can't even see the length between her legs, as knee length would show through the legs.

I liked her on Soul Train too, and didn't know she was in Beat It. That was interesting to learn.

But all one has to do is peruse youtube for long hair. There's JJJ; there's Leona...there's older photos of Lady Grace. There's Lady Godiva. There's Countess DeJager. (I don't know that all of them are on youtube, specifically. But I do know there are long haired videos.) There's even one of me. I'm about to be 52 and have longer hair than this long-haired lady from Soul Train presently.

Good for her for keeping it long. And CONGRATULATIONS on reaching a goal.
