Hey, I just got some Amla powder, but it says that it helps to darken hair?

Also, how would I go about using it?

I have been using Amla oil for about 3 months now and I have not noticed any darkening of my grey hairs. Now granted my hair is black but my grey hairs have yet to darken lol :) I use the oil so I'm not sure how to use the powder. My hair tends to be on the dry side so I have to use something heavy on my hair. Sorry I couldn't be of much more help :(

I use both the oil and powder. The oil darkens my non-grey hair. I mix the powder with henna so I don't know if it would darken hair on its own - I haven't heard of that. The powder doesn't make any kind of stain by itself. But you mix it with water to make a paste, the way you apply henna. Let it sit in there and rinse out.
