CO and cones?

Ok so I'm wondering if any of you CO and still use products with cones? Either the actual conditioner that you CO with or leave in or whatever. I don't use a lot of products and I use mostly natural and organic conditioner, shampoo and product but my hair still does better with a little cone.

So is CO still possible or do I need a shampoo as well?

I was thinking a clarifying shampoo once every couple weeks or even weekly would suffice.

I believe Luxepiggy does CO and cones and her hair is in tip-top condition. If I'm not mistaken, she may actually do CO WITH cones. I guess it depends on the product and the formula. Not all cones buildup the same or perhaps even at all.

I've been experimenting. I find that I have no problems with build up when I use products with amodimethicone (one-n-only conditioning treatment) and peg-dimethicones (herbal essences totally twisted gel) . I CO wash with Tresumme naturals conditioner line btw.
