It's been a while, but it's still long!

lots has happened, but I am still here ;)

I am almost to tailbone now, another 1-1.5 inches, roughly, to go.

Taken today (yay I can still do this Dutch braid, second time in AGES, first was yesterday):

I must say I am pleasantly surprised at the progress of the thickness. I had lost 1/3rds of the volume due to heavy stress, and I see I am gaining it back nicely a year after the fact. You can see how far I am by that braid lol Three years to go still before I am back where I was, but hey.. at least it isn't whimpy looking when it is worn loose, otherwise I would have taken a foot off of the length.

Wow, you have beautiful hair! I wish I could do that braid, it's so neat and tight. I could never figure that out on myself. I also wish I had those full waves and thick hemline of yours. I think it's time I picked up the scissors and did a much needed microtrim. Thank you for the inspiration! :)

Most the waves are braid's though.. heh. However I do know I have waves of my own, when I wash it and let the hair dry like that I have spirals :)

What a lovely braid! You really can't tell that you lost any thickness along the way. Unfortunately my own braid starts off thick enough, and then gets thin all of a sudden. Hopefully if I take care of it the thick part will eventually work its way downwards and the whole thing will look more uniform.

Yep I am still around. Hopefully I will hit the tailbone length sometime, been yanking it down for ages haha. And if it will not get beyond where it is now, fine with me, this length is already nice and long.

Had one of my clients touch and wiggle my bun recently haha.. I was helping her put on her shoes and here she goes "Ohh my mom had one just like that" wiggle wiggle.

Usually I am the very friendly but don't touch me uninvited type, but this lady.. the way she said it .. I figured oh just let her, if it reminds her of her mom, right. :)
