March 2011- after henna and a short pixie.

6 months- September 2011. I decided to grow out the henna. I continuously trimmed up the back of my hair. I wanted enjoy my hairstyle as it grew and avoid the deadly mullet.

Today! The back hasn't gained as much length because of the trims, which I am okay with. I have gotten rid of a lot of the layers and a lot of the henna. This is my natural color, except for the very ends that still have some henna on them.

Great progress! I think it's a great thing to enjoy your hair in every length/stage you go through. Fast length gain isn't everything, and enjoying your hair will save you from impulse cuts.
