Longhair Celebs in their 50's, 60's:did they cut their hair?

I was just trying to google photos of Rita Coolidge in 2012.
Planned to follow up with a 2012 image search for Peggy Lipton and Crystal Gayle.
At least from my cellphone computer, having trouble, as the images I found were all the classics of them young: when Rita and Peggy were my hair idols.
As a side humorous note:you know you're an LHC'er when what you google off site:Takes you to an LHC page.
Was wondering about the hair idols of my youth, since I'm now 57.
Did Rita Coolidge, Peggy Lipton, Crystal Gayle keep their long locks?
Ever try to check on your old hair heros?

I believe most, if not all, of them did not keep their long hair.

Would be neat to see their photos today then, I thought.
To get a feel for how it turned out: wise, or aw, why?
Of course all that matters is what they wanted.
But still thought would be neat to see how hair heros are Now.

I know that Crystal Gayle still has long hair, don't know about the others. I guess my knowledge is a couple of years old, but her hair was as long as ever then.

I'm pretty sure Crystal Gayle still has long hair. The last time I saw Peggy Lipton on tv was a few years ago and her hair was between shoulder and arm pit length. She was still as beautiful as ever. I think I remember that Rita Coolidge cut her hair but that was quite a few years ago. I loved her music.

It is hard to know for sure but sometimes with articles they use "file photos". The one I posted looks to be the most current although she could cut her hair at any time, lol.
