Hi all,

So I (for my sins) usually blow dry my hair or comb it right after I shower. It has a little wave and is nearly straight but the other day I had some time to kill so I decided to (loosely) follow the curly girl way of drying.

I didn't do anything except finger comb in the shower. Then I wrapped it in a soft, cotton huge scarf and tied it up to dry.

This is the result:

Whilst it is a bit crazy for my length of hair I can't wait until it is a bit longer and I can have lovely wavy shoulder length locks!

Does this mean my hair type is different? What do you all think it should be?!

Thanks!

Your hair looks so pretty! It's hard to tell at that length what your "official" hair type might be, but you definitely have some wave. Have fun with it!! One thing that works better for my short hair than plopping (which sounds similar to what you did) is kind of scrunching and twirling locks of hair around my finger until everything is arranged nicely. It keeps the inherent messiness of short wavy hair at bay.

I love your color, too!

Scrunch and twirl, hehe. I'll give it a go. I was gonna purchase some curl cream type stuff or curl enhancing product and see what happens!
The colour is a naughty one...bleach then Directions vermilion. I love it though!

It's too soon to tell type, but enjoy those waves. You might even find some curl.

I agree with the fact that it's too soon to tell. There is some wave there, though. Enjoy it! :D
