I have discovered the line Faith in Nature. And I wanted to know your opinion about the ingredients, especially comparing to AO, which I use almost since joining LHC. They pretend to be "award winning" , although couldn`t find who awarded them. The ingredients seems ok, from my informations gathered on the LHC over the time, but I am not a pro, and you are . :poot:
Any opinions are welcome.
From what I have notices, they use as a main ingredient in almost all conditioners something called brassica campestris. Couldn`t find how extremely benefit is this ingredient for the hair.
Here some products, just as an example. cannot decide which one to use. All their conditioners seems to have almost the same ingredients. My hair is chemical dyed, dry on the ends.

I was using the Neem series an year ago and I found it was too drying. Harsh shampoo for which the conditioner couldn't compensate. But that's my personal experience. For other users it might be different.

I discovered an old post, from about 2 months ago also regarding their products, but not so many members responded to that. I guess maybe it`s not that good after all?

I've been using Faith in Nature for a few months now and I think I'll be ready for a change when this stash runs out.
I started with the Aloe Vera stuff and it was ok, the jojoba is better but the pomegranate and rooibos really work on my hair. I find the shampoo a little harsh and the conditioners are quite runny/oily so too much for co or cwc but I use the tiniest bit of shampoo on my scalp and conditioner all over and it works fine.
I have almost APL fine, slightly wavy hair that is prone to frizz.
I'm always on the hunt for the perfect vegan products and hoped these would be it, but they don't have the mmmmmmmm factor when using them.:undecided

There are a few ingredients in there that I don't like, namely linalool, cetrimonium chloride and the cetearyl alcohol. You can read about these ingredients on Skin Deep:

see....what it means to have no idea about those things. And I thought those are the good ones ! cetearyl alcohol was coconut butter for me, or something deviated from there, cetrimonium chloride thought is something like a moisturizing ingredient and linalool...well...in my translation that supposed to be something deviated from lemon.

That's why it's so misleading. A lot of products are touted as "natural" but when you read about the ingredients they are not necessarily begnin, or naturally occuring in nature. But they are synthetic or created in a lab and can be toxic. And if these ingredients are combined with hot or warm water that opens the pores on the head, then these toxins can make their way into your skin and bloodstream.

Sometimes I go into denial and I don't care. But other times I do say: wait a minute.... do I really want to put that on my skin everyday? Not really.
