4-5 months growth

I'm fairly new to LHC but thought I would share some growth pictures. I took the first ones in November of last year and the second ones yesterday. I didn't think I'd really seen much growth in that time, but it actually looks pretty good.

The thing that is really interesting for me is that, until I joined here last November and decided to do a hair typing, I would have described my hair as straight, with a bit of a body wave. As you can see from the photos - I've been wrong!

I always kept my hair short because I didn't like how 'boofy' it was. Of course now I know that brushing out my almost curly hair is going to cause boof.

I think it was definitely a summer spurt. I hadn't had a haircut for at least a year prior to the first shot but it was only shoulder length.

Monalisa - it is so funny that you make the comment about volume. I've spent so much of my life having my hair thinned out by hair dressers, trying to get it lie straight and flat, it is weird to actually feel ok with it being a bit wild and 'big'.

I joined LHC in December and I thought I had straight hair, too. I just thought I had "a lot of volume"... haha, how could I be so naive about my own hair! Also, your member name drew me in! My husband's family is very Irish and my husband and I are enthusiasts of all Celtic things, when picking out baby names Ceridwen and Eirys were both on the lists. Too bad we went more mainstream due to pressure from our families.

I think it is fuller because I've have learned that it is wavy and so I'm happy to kind of 'puff' it up, rather than always smoothing it down. It is more aerated I guess. :p

My bra strap seems to be about one inch from my waist so I'm just brushing the top of it. I'm fat and have gigantic boobs so my bra strap is about 2 inches wide! :o

I'm SO jealous of the rate of your growth! My hair length gets eaten up by curls, so even if my hair grew 2 inches a month, it'd look like it had only grown 1/2 an inch.
