Today's hairstyle: a modified version of the "maiden" look from PrettyShepherd's livestream on historical Transylvanian folk hairstyles (https://youtu.be/3SBVNaTVTbs)! The only difference in how I did mine is that I pinned my wreath of braids on top of the upper braids so that they would show from the front for Zoom. I did this in a bit of a hurry to get ready this morning, so don't judge my uneven partings :doh: but it feels really secure and I think it'll even survive my workout this afternoon. I can totally see how this would have been practical for physical work on a daily basis.

So the first image is my mother's shoulder-length hair, French braided and taped/sewn with a white ribbon into a cute loop..
The second is my own hair (classical length) in a style inspired by The Borgias (tutorial video here (https://youtu.be/47D9cK1lIWs))
and I'm working on making a tutorial video for my version of a milkmaid braid that includes the front hair lace braided and it all taped/sewn together (unfortunately, no decent pictures)
