I remember going to a hair salon in the Dominican Republic back in the 90's and seeing some ladies get stuff like that done. I always thought that it was a bit over the top.

Speaking of hair hats, I used to wear a wig (instead of a ha) when it was cold.

When I saw the title I thought there would be tiny hat-shaped buncovers that would fit to contain the whole bun (I'd like a little top hat for mine actually, now that the idea has struck).

But those... Well, da-yum. :rolleyes::p

Great idea! Also allows you to try on different looks without cutting or damaging with colour & heat. I may just try that next winter...
