What is the one product your hair cannot live without? And what is the one best bit of advice for newbies?:)

As far as advice: patience is the key if you want to grow long hair.

Also, the gentler you handle it, the better.

Benign neglect is worth investigating.

My table teeter or my snob girls conditioner.

Definitely patience.

1). My fingers for finger combing my hair before doing anything to my hair.
2). Body Shop Wooden comb after I finger combed thoroughly.
3). My Tangle Teezer to gently brush only the coarse areas of my hairs.
4). Coconut Oil
5). EVOO
6). ACV used after clarifying
7). Hair Claw, small black bendable barret clips like what gymnast use.
8). Satin Pillow case.

I could live without any products and go with WO if need be. I've done it. Some sulfate free option followed by ACV is strongly preferred though. Scalp oiling before wash and conditioner after works nicely for me.

Generally a simple routing will help the most. Find what works and stick to it.

My oil is one thing I cannot do without...it has helped me so much with my hair.

It's hard to say what one piece of advice is- I think just be nice to your hair. Don't burn it, don't "tease" it, you know, things like that.

Coconut oil. My advice is to use gentle shampoo, good conditioner, no heat and no dye. At least that is what helps me to keep my hair in good condition. I'm really more of a newbie myself and my hair is not that long at all, but it changed drastically due to the way I treat it now.

The one product that I need to have is my Suave Tropical Coconut conditioner. Love, love, love that stuff for COing. I do have a new love that I would find it hard to be without now since I have seen what it does for my ends...baby oil!

Newbie advice: Like Madora said, be gentle with your hair and have patience...lots and lots of patience. :)

Coconut oil and don't try every treatment under the sun in one go! Simple routines work best :)
