My hair is about APL length but it has long layers. I'm looking for a french twist comb and found one or two from France Luxe that I would like to order. I have seen some from other sites that have curved teeth like this one (http://www.amazon.com/Caravan-Contemporary-Seven-Tooth-French/dp/B003DWQEZC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1329964677&sr=8-3) and I'm wondering if I should get one of these instead of one with straight teeth. Thanks for your recommendations.

I'm not sure about this one. I'm sure someone who knows more than I will come along :)

I think, overall, the wavy stuff locks in better. I don't have any pertinent experience with french twist combs, though.

I have the one with straight teeth and it works great. I'm not sure how the other one works because I've never tried one. But I've used waved hair sticks and they tend to break some of my hair. So I would recommend the one with straight teeth.

Here's a photo of my hair in a peacock twist held by the comb with straight teeth: click for photo (http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lz29qbPQq81r8s15to1_400.jpg).

My hair seems to spit out the straight ones. But France Luxe combs are really nice and have no sharp edges. I'll have to look on their site again sometime to see if they've got any of the wiggly variety.
