View Full Version : Poll: DBF's Hair

DBF is really self conscious about his thinning hair. He has one way that he styles it that I think just accentuates his receding hairline. His hair in two of the following pictures he did himself. I did it in two other pictures. I'm not going to tell you which are which, just look at the pictures and vote for the one that looks best/most full.

Also, anyone who wants to do some ego boosting and tell him that it does NOT look that bad at all, that would be nice.

Thanks!

I think it looks fullest in picture 1, but I think it suits him most in picture 2. :)

I like pic 4. Tell him not to worry at all and it looks fine.

My man is bald and I love him to bits :)

I would never have called that thinning hair. It just looks like he has an adult male hairline.

PS-I voted 1. It just looks best to me but they are all fine.

Honestly, they all look equal to me because his hair does not appear to be thinning at all.

Now, my boyfriend actually DOES have thinning hair, and he grows his out just a tad longer to get some extra wave that makes it look more voluminous.

I said picture 1, but really his hair does not look thin to me in any of them at all.

So I scrolled down and looked at the pictures before I read anything, and was shocked after I did to see that he thinks his hair is balding! It looks fine to me. I voted number 4, number 2 is my second choice. :)

His hair doesn't appear to be thinning.

It is way too short though. :D

His hair does not look like it's receding at all to me. I like picture one best, but his hair looks fine in all of them.

Picture 2 suits him best...I can't tell in any picture that his hairline is receding or that his hair is thinning.. His hair looks great :)

I voted 3, 'cause the rest all more or less look alike to me. And 3 has kind of a dandyish look, and I sort of like that in a man.

Tell him to enjoy his hair while he's got it because it may all be downhill from here. my husband's has been "thinning" since he was in his 20s, and finally at some point in his mid-thirties he just gave up and shaved it all off.

He's still a sexy beast, tho. ;)

The only one I would say "it could be cuter if..." is #3. I don't really like the little curl in the middle of his forehead. But other then that the others all look good. #3 would look fine if you pushed the curl up a little and off his forehead. Or at least that's my two cents.

I voted 4 because that was my favourite picture but honestly his hair doesn't look like it's thinning or receding in any of them!

My husband has a hairline that has receded so far that it's halfway back across his head. There's no real way to hide that so now he just shaves the whole thing. It suits him but I sometimes get nostalgic about when he let it grow - he was a longhair himself once upon a time.

1 is what I voted for, but 2 is also good. I'll agree that his hairline looks good, and there really isn't noticeable thinning. Keeping his hair that length or just a shade longer can help camouflage thinning hair. My fiance has the same issue - hairline is receding, especially at the temples, and thinning all over the top of the head. It makes me sad, because I love his soft, baby-fine, wurly hair. I tried to talk him into using something to try to slow the hairloss, but it made him feel bad about his appearance, so I dropped it. *sigh* His self-confidence is more important than his hair.

He looks good in all the pictures, but I chose number 2 if I have to decide on one. :)

His hair doesn't seem to be thinning though?

2 or 4, I picked 2. His hair doesn't look like it's thinning in any of the pictures.

I think he looks good in all the pictures, but I voted for picture number 4. And I think his hair looks full and not thinning at all:)

Despite his hair is dark and there is a contrast between it and the skin, I do not see the seems of shedding at all!

It doesn't appear to have any distinct styles in any of the pictures? Just looks like it was maybe ruffled about a bit.
Is this a wind up?!

I wouls say he looks best in pic 2 but since the pics ae taken at very different perspectives and angles it does change the whole final image. He appears to me to have fine hair and using heavy producst just weigh it down and seperate it and make it look thin! He needs to lose the hair product and if eh needs to get a little control then use a very small amount of mousse. He definately could grow it a little longer and get more style in there with the waves!

I think his hair looks best in picture 2, but I can't see any thinning, or receding hairline in any of the pictures!

I voted for number two. But to be honest, I don't see much in the way of thinning at all. My DBF's hair has been thinning noticably since he was sixteen. He's almost completely bald now, and I love him all the more for it.

I think picture 2 is the most flattering, but all of them look nice. Thinning hair would not even been on my radar if I encountered him in the real world. Tell him it's fine, he has nothing to worry about!

I like 2 and 4. I agree with others saying that "receding" must be in the eye of the grower... I can hardly tell where there's any hair missing that's supposed to be there.
