Today was salon day/roots touched up. I also had free time so Casey was FINALLY able to do a bit more than just blow dry my hair.

Wow. That is beautiful. Your hair is fantastic straight also. I did this once pretty much same length but not the spirals. How are you going to brush it?

Thank you. I don't plan on brushing it at all. They are very soft curls. I could comb them out, but I plan on doing a very messy up-do tomorrow, with what's left of the curls hanging down.

Thank you everyone! These curls are only for the brave. :agree: Maybe once or twice a year for me, max. My hairdresser twirled each group of curls, then curled them using a flat iron. She applied two different products. Redken Smooth Down and another product I can't recall the name of, the main ingredient was sunflower oil.

Gorgeous!

As an FYI to everyone, you can achieve that same look without heat, though it's an all-day process (see my sig pic). Put spiral perm rods (the medium or large ones) in very slightly damp hair in the morning. But late afternoon you will have beautiful spiral curls. I generally do that only once a year because it's such a pain. But sssoooo purty! You can buy plastic spiral perm rods lots of places, I got mine at Claires years ago; I think they have them at Sally's now. It takes about 20 for me to do my entire head, though I have thin and fine-ish hair - it will take more for those of you who are thicker-haired.

Nice! I hope they lasted awhile. I can get my hair to curl, but within an hour it falls out.

By the way, it looks just like Ashlotte's from the game Soul Calibur 4.

Thank you everyone. I still have curls today! I'm going to comb them a little tonight and wrap them around my finger. They are looser today. I'll probably wash my hair on Saturday morning, so they'll disappear. They were definitely fun to have! My hair is very soft and smells so good.

Update: Day four and I still have loose long spirals. I plan to wash today, so they will be gone forever.

Thank you , all of you who responded after my update. :flower:

Vasilissa, my hair is highlighted (bleach, vol40) to a platinum color, it matches my silver. The underneath panel is my own dark auburn, I never apply bleach to it.

That is EXACTLY the hair I wanted when I was a little girl! Long, blonde and in perfect spirals. (This little brown girl grew up and decided to embrace what she had, but I still remember the dreams!)

I have never seen hair like this on a real person, it's so lovely.
