I need to fix my hair in an Victorian-style for a themed event next Wednesday. I will be putting it up in back in a partially-wrapped bun and I want the long (12") leftover ends to be in a few sausage-type curls.

Should I use a curling iron? I have one (but, haven't used it for years) with a 1" barrel.

Would curlers work better? As it is for just one afternoon, I'd rather not spend $$$ for those spiral curlers I saw at W-M ($15.00 just for one afternoon, no thanks).

I will be washing my hair on Monday, so it will be completely dry by Wednesday.

Any thoughts???

Thanks, in advance................

you could try rag curling your hair

I had had really good luck with rag curls, or sock curls. Just Make sure to cut the rags long enough to tie. You could put the rag curls in tommorow, if your hair will still be a little damp.

If you go teh curling iorn route, be prepared for it to take at least 2 hours. A 1 inch curling iorn is very small, it will take a long time. I would make sure to pin up hair, then start with a layer at the bottom, curl/spray with hairspray/let curls cool, let next layer down and reapeat until all done.

Good luck!
