Is that a real picture? I mean, photoshopping is getting really good nowadays. I just seriously doubt a real person could grow hair that long. I've certainly never seen hair anywhere that long on a real person.

Wow!! Isn't it strange how what's fashionable changes so much over time? It would have been fun to live in a time where everyone had and valued long hair, and knew how to do gorgeous complicated updos :)

I'm sure it's real. It wasn't uncommon 100+ years ago for women to have terminal length because no one wore their hair down all the time, they wore it up after a certain age, and they took very good care of it. I've seen a few people IRL with that length. Very few but I have...we have members here with ankle length.

Look at that thickness all the way down!! :thudpile:

hairyfan21, it's the real deal. I've seen other pictures of Miss Vallandri and her fantastic mane.

Here's a link to Rapunzel's Delight. You'll see that "back in the day" long hair was prized by many ladies:

Be sure to check out the various pictures of the famous Sutherland Sisters too!

Thick all the way down. I don't think she starts to lose any thickness until knee, and then it's not that much. *_*

Never before have I wished for hair any longer than perhaps mid-back to waist but after seeing her hair...:thudpile: I think that my heart has jumped out of its casing, her hair is just so beautiful. Its just so thick and curly and ever so long. :heartbeat

Thank you for the link, Madora!

As I understand it, she advocated:
* no heat
* mostly NW/SO, brushing hair for 30 minutes every day (with a clean brush!)
* scalp massages

Very enlightening indeed. :D

However, it does not specify how she washed her hair when she actually used water (whether she used products, etc.).

She's cheating tilting her head back like that! :eyebrows:
Seriously though so beautiful and so thick all the way down. She would have had an amazing braid.

I love those beads! . . . and the dress. I did something similar at christmas with the christmas garland beads in my hair - got the idea from a LHCmember youtube tutorial.
