Hey Everyone

I think a lot of you remember that last fall, i was complaining about my ends being too thin for my liking, this mostly because i colored too much with permanent and semi permanent dye in summer(like 5 times)

Now 3,5 months later and 3 microtrims further this is the result

Before

http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?albumid=9559&pictureid=126111

You can see my ends being very thin, almost invisible..:eye:

After

http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?albumid=9559&pictureid=126109

This is my hair today, fuller ends finally!!!

I want to thank all of you for the support and the kind and wise words, it really helped me alot..
This is again some proof that microtrimming can really work, i totally cut off like 2 inches in 3 months and i'm now growing to Classic and hope to be there this summer.

Your ends really look good. Isn't it amazing what a few small trims can do? So you trimmed 2" in 3 months, and probably only lost a little bit in overall length, but it looks so much better!

Definitely thicker, thanks for sharing
What was the time frame between the two pics if you do not mind sharing, is it because your hair got longer and you trimmed the thinner ones, would you mind share your secrets, LOL

the first pic is made on october 25 and the second one is from yesterday,so thats 3,5 months. I trim by the moon (marrocan calendar)as i feel that it helps me with hairgrowth.
I really thought i hadnt gained any length but after seeing the pictures i realized i had.
Each time i trimmed at least 0.5 inch but the last trim (4days ago)was a full inch

Thank you Maktub! :)
Yes, i decided to stop it totally. i havent colored since August now and see a big improvement in thickness in the first few inches of hair.
I would recommend it to everyone who didnt give up the dye yet,its really worth it.
My hair is natural a shade of brown/auburn with some black natural lowlights but i always want to have blue black hair and that is where it went wrong this summer..

You're lucky you got such fast results! Your hemline looks a lot fuller, although it was far from pitiful back in October... ;)

Have you looked into two-step henndigo?
I think it is possible to achieve really black hair this way, and because it is permanent, you'd only have to touch up the roots every now and then... :)

Thank you:) yes i have been using Lush Caca Noir but it fades really quick! :(
I was thinking about doing the two step next week, because i like my hair to be jetblack..
I'm a bit scared though, because its gonna be very permanent, but after many years of having all haircolors i know black suits me best so i will just go for it.

I think I read somewhere on the henna board that Lush Caca henna is more of a gloss, so it is not as permanent as regular henna...

You are right, indigo is very permanent so you have to be 100% sure you want to go for it. I think black hair really suits you, but at the end of the day, this is your decision to make. :flowers:

I hope you keep us in the loop if you decide to go for a two-step henndigo! :D
