Hey guys - what is the best hair clips for very thick (wl) long hair. Tried Ficcarre clip....meh, it's ok. Will work if my hair is wet. Wood hair forks & sticks work, but I'd like to use something different sometime. Something pretty and decorative.....
Any suggestions?

Are Flexi8s considered hair clips? (www.flexi8.com) They come in a variety of sizes and run up to mega/XXL.

I really like the france luxe clips. http://www.franceluxe.com/c/ForThickHair/ForThickHair.html

I have had some luck with the scrunchi brand, but I have had about 1/4 work and 3/4 break. I think those are a luck of the draw kind of barrette. They are much less expensive though. http://www.amazon.com/Scunci-No-Slip-Grip-Barrette-Thick/dp/B0051AYE0G/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1328550017&sr=8-12

The France Luxe ones look great! I like that it's curved so it'll probably hold more hair than a regular French barrette. I had to remove the metal spring portion from regular barrettes to make them work for me when my hair was thinner (when I had layers and full bangs) but they no longer work for me so it's great to have alternatives now.

I have browsed through France Luxe's website before but have never gone into the barrettes section because I thought those were a lost cause. Thanks for the recommendation! I'll probably order a couple to try them out :flowers:

These are absolutely stunning. I did not need to say that right now...

I really like France Luxe, but I'm not sure their clips will hold up WL thick hair. The biggest FL clip I have is about 3" long, and I can do a small half-up with it, but no way can I put all my hair up.
