I thought I was a 1a, but after after seeing these pics I'm in soubt
This was today, I washed it with a shampoo bar, then conditioned, rinsed, conditioned again and then rinsed with veey cold water
I let it airdry, didn't touch it except for my bangs, so I could see what I did ;)

Just feels kind of stringy if I don't brush my hair :p

I'd go 1c/2a. Be interesting to see how it evolves as your hair gets longer! :D

I'd say at least a 1c! Lovely hair!

(I love your tiled backsplash too!)

I agree with the others; 1c at the absolute least, maybe 1c/2a.

waw, I'm in shock :o (in a good way that is ;) )
I always saw myself as a very straight haired woman :)

1c at least. More waves could develop when your hair gets longer. But those are definitely waves.

I also always though I was straight-haired, and was annoyed at the 'bumps' that appear at around chin length. Lo and behold, these were waves - some even spiral waves!

One nice tip I got was to decide if your hair ACTS like straight hair or like wavy. Does it get frizzy? Does it look radically different from one day to the next? Mine does, and I classify mine as wavy. My sister's (for example) always hangs smoothly, shines, and can be put up and taken down easily, so, even though she has some waves, she is more of a straightie.

my hair acts like it's straight.
it doesn't frizz at all, I can get out of my bed and it just sits perfectly
I can put it up or down as I please and people always tell me I have very easy hair to work with :)

I don't see 1c/2a because it looks to be only a body wave. So it looks like a pretty solid 1c.

1c for sure :) at least

if your hair's anything like mine, it may get straighter as it gets longer. mine used to be more of a 2a, but now seems to be hanging out at 1b or 1c, despite only being kind of close to waist.

it'll be interesting to see how/ if it changes!

I understand the feeling completely! I had this very thing happen when I joined the community and left my hair alone. You are lucky that it acts more straight, mine tends to act frizzier.

Looks like a solid 1c to me. It will be interesting to see how it responds to some more length; it will likely either gain wave or become straighter. Enjoy it however it grows. :)

Another vote for 1c. You might be 2a if it stays wavy as it gets longer.

If I'm not mistaken, when it was longer (I was about 14) it was more straight, but then again, I washed myhair every other day, I fried it like weekly, so I'm curious wether my hairtype has changed...

Swimming against the current (as usual), my first thought was 1B, maybe 1C.
