I went to a party where we all dressed up as historical figures, so I (of course) went as Empress Sissi, the most beautiful woman of the 19th century, with knee-length hair. She had other distinguishing features - champion of the poor, defender of the Hungarian state, avid horsewoman, world traveler - but I chose her for the hair.
