After several weeks of uncomfortable sleep, in which my hair bunched up around my neck, under my face, etc., I realized my hair is now long enough (24") that I need to put it in a sleep braid. :cheese: I haven't had to do that in years. I feel awesome. Oh, and the braid has 5 rows of plaits (don't know how to describe that) and is shiny and substantial. Go me!!!

YAY! :cheese: :cheese: :cheese:

I realized I needed to wear my hear up at night when I woke up trying to turn over and found it wound round my neck! shudder: (that was when my hair was much longer)

Well, technically it has 10 bumps (5 on each side.)

I look forward to the day that I can say that I needed a braid in my hair to sleep. Right now my hair is short and it will be a long time before I can make a braid. Congratulations on your sleep style.

Hoooorrrraaaaayyy! :toast:

I love these unexpected milestones. Yesterday my hair was long enough to get caught up in the wind, and I can't remember the last time that happened, it made me so happy. :D

I know the feeling, yesterday was the first time my layers have been long enough to put into two English braids and stay intact!

Oooh, oooohh.... Today while I was working out I had my hair down. It brushed the inside of my arm, just above my elbow. At first I was freaked out thinking it was a bug or something because my hair was never long enough to do that. Then I realized that is was my now longer hair and was so happy! :joy:

I love sleep braids just because my hair doesn't need detangling in the morning.

I have come to realize that if I don't braid mine to sleep, it make my back itch.
