I wanted to make a specific thread about this date for those of us that want to try the aledged benefits of trimming on the moon phases ... and see if it makes any difference at all.

I read that trimming on the full moon in leo is especially amazing both for increasing strength, fullness and thickness of hair. So, best date ever for myself, who needs a trimm anyways !!

But now I'm confused and I need help to understand...

Lets say, for example, the full moon where I live is at precisely 11:00 o'clock on the 7th.

Some things I read seem to say that I should trimm at, or after, 11:00 (as the moon phase will then be better, and because before the full moon would actually do the contrary and decrease hair growth rate...)

Others seem to say to trimm right before 11:00 (as the moon is, if I understood well, is then still in Leo, which is also a good thing (?))

So, to the specialists of the moon... what's the deal and what am I not understanding well ? would 10:55 be better to trimm or 11:05, for this next trimm on February 7th ?

This seems like a ridiculous question... could go in the "you know you're a LHC member when..."
:o

I'll just trim it after dinner, I'm not worried about being too specific...

Trimming before the full moon (when the moon is waxing) is for growth, trimming after the full moon (waning) is for slow growth.
It is the same for gardening - plant when the moon is waxing for good growth, cut down/ mow the lawn etc when the moon is waning.
Hope this helps.

Oooh, I trimmed on the Full Moon in Loe last year. :D It was a good way to start off a new year of hair growth. My hair definitely got a lot thicker and healthier over this past year, but I attribute that to my microtrimming schedule. Hahaha. I'll probably trim a wee bit on that day for fun and to celebrate my progress.

I have no clue about when one should trim on that day, though. I generally trim my hair sometime in the evening when everything is quiet and I'm more likely to be left alone.

I think just before is best; The nearly-full-waxing-moon-phase, as opposed to the just-been-full-waning-phase. It's up to you though. :) Im going to trim the night before the full moon at 853am here. The moon will be almost full and in Leo. Happy trimming all!

Ah thanks !!! So I'll trimm before the full moon then !

The exact time "before" doesn't change anything ?

Good thing you told me, I was all confused about it and would probably have done it wrong lol

I have always read mixed views on this. I read somewhere that it's best to trim for growth whe the moon is starting to get bigger ( when it's a tiny sliver). But on this site have been advised to cut on the date of a full moon just before it starts getting smaller.

I know you say trim before the full moon ( when it is waxing ) but how soon before do you mean?:o
