I saw this the other day and want to try it. There may already be a thread, but has anyone tried thier own recipe? Here is the link to the one I want to try: http://wellnessmama.com/3701/how-to-make-natural-shampoo-easy-recipe/

Yes, I do something similar, but not with coconut milk. I use coconut oil, a few drop of Dr. Bronner's, and some hot water to melt the oil. I only make enough to use once or twice since I don't use distilled water. I just make it up right before jumping in the shower. Oh, and I make it in an applicator bottle, like the ones for ketchup, mustard or salad dressing that you can buy at walmart, cheap plastic bottles with a narrow tip to squeeze it onto you scalp. Then I follow with an acv rinse. This step is important because castille soap is alkaline and you need to restore your scalp's pH to its naturally more acidic state. Also, before using oil shampoo, it is important to clarify first so that the oil is then able to penetrate the hair shaft.
