So I have no idea what these are... some kind of hair toy... but what? :eek:

They are called FanTails.

Looks like some kind of bun maker. Slide a ponytail through it, and lock it in place with the hooks on the side? Then wrap the hair somehow around the L-shaped bits?

I've seen those before at Claire's. I think they have something to do with a messy bun type updo.

I have no idea, Soul. :) I didn't bother to try and use them. I have sticks and ficcares to keep my hair busy, lol.

Lol, maybe I should try them out on my sister with APL length hair... :)

Also, the style seems very early 2000's, reminds me of Britney Spears' and Christina Aguilera's hairstyles at the time. :D

They do look a little scary and slightly impossible for longer hair lengths. O.o

I found a video on a girl using on of these (given a different name when sold under a different company.)

It looks like it would easily have been done with bobby pins and hair screws if you really wanted... the comments though are fun. :)
