This is my first bun since 9th grade, it was in December 2007.

Thankyou for your comments! I find it easier to bun when my hair is damp and slightly oiled.

Hmm, it's kind of hard to describe how I did my avatar look... I'll give it a try. I gathered my hair in a ponytail, then I kind of rolled it to a loop. I secured it with my fakkare through the top of the loop.

I think it's harder to do it if you have longer hair, but I don't know.

Thanks! My problem is that all I can do is tidy. I love messy updos, but I always make mine tidy... Boring.
