Hello everyone! This is my first post to the LHC. I will be going to a formal in a few months and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of how I could wear my hair? It reaches down to my bra strap and I'm growing it out to waist length, and I don't do any heat styling or use product in it. I would love to hear of some suggestions!!

Do you have any idea how you want to wear it?

Some possibilities:
down, with or without heat-free curls
in a bun
braided
braided updo (my personal favorite because a lot of them look really fancy and aren't too difficult to make)

I'd do a french twist

Twisted crown braid:

Very comfy, easy to do. Be sure to detangle all your hair before you begin.

I suggest a rose bun, to me it is the prettiest and your hair might be long enough for it. You can try using U shaped hair pins to hold it in place.

Most updos don't require any heat. Really, most hairstyles don't. Can you show us pictures of things you like?

I'm fond of a half up with a pretty barette. Really soft and romantic and pretty, not to mention easy!

I love french twists and chingons, they always look elegant and classy. If you want a few wispies around your face maybe either use pin curls or braid curls. :)
