Possibility of plaiting with one hand.

It started with my obsession with Star Wars EU. The character Tenel Ka Djo who, incidentally, lost her arm in sparring practice & braids with one hand. Could be imagination, could be reality. You're opinion?

I'm not sure what scene or character you are talking aobut, but I think it's probably possible. You could probably hold strands in your mouth or under your arm as you are braiding.

Definitely possible; strategic use of your mouth would help too. A while back a member posted a thread for styles you could do with one hand, as she had lost one in an accident (I'm sorry, I can't remember her username), and she could do a multitude of lovely styles with her hair. I guess if you find yourself in that situation you learn to adapt. :)

I think use of your mouth could help. It would be fiendishly difficult though. Of course there's always the possibility of someone else doing the braiding, or at least helping you hold the strands.
