I got my husband to do a teeny micro trim yesterday, and a measure and photos. I'm feeling a little discouraged, but only because I'm desperate for more growth !! :D

Anyways here I am back in September 2010

I don't have a measurement for that trim, but when I joined here in October it was 39"

Here I am yesterday at 40.5"

and here I am trying to show where classic would be on me with my fingers:

I don't feel confident to call it classic yet. I think that moving my hands caused me to lean back slightly. Husband disagrees :p

Please excuse my kitchen too :p

Beautiful hair, Snippety! Also, I don't think it's 1a - at least 1b, maybe (probably) 1c. You have a well-defined loose S-wave pattern clearly visible in that last photo. :)

ETA: Of course, maybe your hair holds braid waves really well, and that's what I'm seeing here. Inquiring minds want to know!

Lol it *is* braid waves. I wear it constantly in a single plait so whenever it's down for a comb out there are braid waves.

Thank you all for such lovely compliments :) Feel all warm inside now !

You're at Classic. On another note, so is your washing machine in your galley kitchen too? That's unusual.

I would call it classic!!! When my hair gets that long, I'll probably faint when I look in the mirror the first few times ;) It will be a good 3 years for me!

Yes, it's a teeny kitchen tacked onto the back of a weeny Victorian terrace, so everything has to fit in. Some of the houses in our street have a lean to for laundry, but not ours. It's rented so we just have to live with it :p

Thank you every one for all the nice comments. I do have my husband to thank for the nice hemline. He does a comb and trim for me twice a year which seems to keep it in shape. Thrilled that everyone thinks I'm at classic :D I thought I might be there by March/April time. I will go and join the Classic to Knee thread forthwith :cheese:

And totally unrelated -- but I love how your kitchen has a laundry washer right there. When we visited England a few years ago, I noticed how most of the homes had that. It makes so much sense to have it there where all the house-type work seems to be done. Mine is in the basement, and I'm trying to find a way of moving it up to the main level.

Your hair is so pretty! Your husband does an amazing job of keeping a straight cut. I can't beleive you have such a nice hemline from only 2 trims a year!

Congratulations on reaching classic!
