My hair as it was purple

Last August, I dyed my blonde streaks purple and it came out looking like this:

Alittle later, my love of purple took over and I dyed it all very dark purple. It's the wood elf in me mourning the death of a tree. :( it's hard to see my purple hair in this pic:

I can't see the first picture, but it looks really pretty in the others! I love the way the purple eyeshadow looks next to your eyes as well :)

That looks absolutely gorgeous on you! I've only ever managed to achieve obnoxious-looking shades of purple, but that one is so gentle and lovely.

Ohmigosh!! LOVE it!! DH's favorite color is dark purple (he really is straight... promise... he's just into dragons and Age of Empires and stuff ;). If I could pull that off he'd go bonkers :P

I wanted to, but the constant bleaching was damaging and it was expensive to maintain. :(

Don't know how dark your hair is, but even a purple sheen like something from manic panic or others would look lovely. And wouldn't require bleach. I have dark hair and love the vampire red even though it only really shows bright in the sun.

Don't know how dark your hair is, but even a purple sheen like something from manic panic or others would look lovely. And wouldn't require bleach. I have dark hair and love the vampire red even though it only really shows bright in the sun.

I was thinking about trying since my hair seems to love manic panic as a condish. I have very dark brown hair though, so I'm not positive it would turn out. Also, I wouldn't know whether to use ultra violet or purple haze. Tough descion! :D
