This was alot easier said than done. I used Dollys Skyrim hair tutorial for it with purple ribbon. I know nothing about skyrim; I just liked the hairstyle. Its messed up in a few places, but hey, first attempt ya know! :p

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoL1jBrpTdA the hair tutorial I took it from

as good as I got it..... as you can see hers is better :)

Its also in my albums if you cant see facebook. It needs alittle work, but after six braids, you care less about perfection.... at least your arms do anyway. ;)

Interesting. Possible helpful tip.

When I weave a ribbon into my braid, as I create the braid, I make sure the ribbon is on TOP so it will show consistently to the word at each step of the weave. I have to sometimes rotate the ribbon around the hair to make sure it's on top and shows in the weave, once my hair is all braided.

I don't know if this will help you, but I noticed the ribbon shows less and less as you progressed down the length.

Just practice, and you'll get better at it.

No, but I haven't washed my hair in 2 or 3 days and I find that dirty hair is a lot easier to work with than squeaky clean. :D

It looks like a very pretty hair style, and I really like the video you linked to. :)

Added bonus -- it's Skyrim inspired! :D

Fabulous, that looks like it was a lot of fun! (A lot of work, but fun!) Good job! I think it turned out quite smashing.

I liked it except for the braids at the top of my buns. I didn't place them right, but I don't want to mess with them now and screw the whole hair style up. Besides, I'm at home today anyway and was just trying this out for fun. Thanks for your and everyone else's kind words (and tips). :D

Ya she has a lot of great hair tutorials and several skyrim and game of thrones hairstyles. I don't know about either (I'm a lord of the rings obsessed person myself) but the hairstyles are cool. :D

Took me forever to pick a hair style for my characters in this game. Of course I picked the braided hair do's. Still looking for this style in game. You did a wonderful job. Looks very pretty.

I saw Torrin's tutorial, and I'm really impressed by your success ! :) Congrats !

No I know it works for hair shorter than hers, I have no excuse anymore for not trying... ^^
