Since i am washing my hair at night, i want to blow dry it so it is dry before bed. Will blow drying it completly fry it if done once? I am planning on using heat protection also. I am doing a cassis treatment tommorow, will the products i use on my hair for blowdrying affect how well this works also?

The only time I use heat on my hair is after I get it done at my hair dressers to make sure it turned out ok. Heat is very drying and my hair doesn't tolerate it well at all, which sucks since my hair looks great straightened.

I don't think one blowfryer session will damage your hair, especially if you use some heat protection. I blowfry mine occasionally, for the same reason as you (sleeping on wet hair = :p). It does fluff my hair up a bit though, which looks nice on my straight, flat hair, but might give you quite a volume boost as it looks like you are much wavier than me ;)
If you are concernd about how your hair will react to the heat, I would suggest using medium or low heat, and maybe letting it airdry partway before you start. This is what I usually do when I use the blowfryer. I also keep my free hand holding the strand I'm working on - that way I can feel if it's getting hot and move to a new section.
My blowfryer's highest heat setting is REALLY hot :( so I hardly ever use that one.
