It does shrink and extend a lot though, annoying when it does since it has grown a lot since my last trim.

I am at 43.5 inches, which is just a month's growth away from my "real LHC goal", since when I first started reading here, I thought 44 inches sounded just incredibly long! I'll probably keep growing just to see but I'd like to see classic with a great hemline someday, so I'll probably be trimming a bit more once I'm past the 44 marker, which is where I'm claiming solid classic, too! :D

In other news, I did the biggest trim ever on dd7. Her hair was solidly past classic when stretched (she has about 3a curls), and we took off a good 2 inches, so she is back to just past tailbone with much nicer ends, and we were able to keep a little mini ponytail for her baby book of some of the last of her blonde hair, as it is darkening as she gets older. Both of us are very happy with it. Just had to share somewhere that would get it...a big deal to us, and no one else will even notice...haha.

It's been five month since I joined the LHC and I so exited to see the long term results of the things I've learned here.
I resently dicided to stop trimming for awhile and see if my ends can take it, I hope so cause I'm much more carful and always wear my hair up since I joined.

Last trim for me was last Feb 2011, at pixie length. I did no more trims/cuts after that.
I joined LHC in July 2011 at 7".
January 2012 I am 9.75"

I plan on not trimming for 2012 as well. If I do need to trim...I will wait until december, hopefully by then my hair is long enough that I can see all of it and just s&D myself..really don't want to go to the salon.
