How would you go about doing the hair on the first picture on this page?

I do this to my DD's hair all the time, except she has side swept bang's. Just Part the hair in the middle and french braid from the edge/corner of the part and then down to the front of the ears, then tie or hairband the 2 braids at the back of the head.

Ladonna is right. At first I thought it was a lace braid, but after 2nd glance it is a french. Just part and braid. Not sure how the back is because I didn't see the movie, but it's definitely only half of the hair that is braided. :)

Imaginary styles has it wrong. That's not a lace braid but a french braid using very small sections of hair pulled down to the level of the ears.
